Nestled in the historic heart of Ljubljana, the Actum Hotel pleasantly surprised me with its blend of regency charm and modern comfort. My room was spacious, adorned with tasteful antiques and complemented by contemporary touches. The massive bed offered a choice between soft and firm pillows-I opted for soft, sinking into restful slumber after a day exploring. Now, let's talk food! I indulged in the breakfast buffet that transcended typical hotel fare. The spread featured local delights and innovative dishes, making each morning feel like a culinary adventure. A personal favorite was the smoked salmon with fresh dill-you could taste the quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant exuded warmth, courtesy of the accommodating staff who navigated between tables with cheerful smiles. Though I only stayed one night, the hotel's tranquility was inviting-thanks to its limited traffic access. The absence of an elevator was no trouble, as the staff swiftly handled my luggage. Should you find yourself in Ljubljana, consider Actum Hotel not just as a place to rest, but as a culinary stop that accentuates the city's charm. Honestly, I wish I'd planned a longer stay to savor every culinary innovation they offer.
